things to see in the area

Nairn itself is a holiday town and has a fantastic long, wide sandy beach. There are various small shops and cafes in the town itself and there are hotels in Nairn itself. Further up the coast you will find the windswept coastal village of Findhorn which is also worth a visit to see the beach and the lovely cottages in the village. Inverness is within easy reach of Nairn and there are quite a few good standard golf courses within fairly easy reach, among them Castle Stuart, Fortrose and Rosemarkie and the Spey Valley Championship Golf Course.
